Well I was kinda hoping of preservive my engine components for as long as possible...

Is there anyway to get that sound WITHOUT destroying my engine, and keeping it legal.... no I'm not taking my drill to the exaust!!!

If you can find a turbo that has needle roller bearings as opposed to the more normal (& more reliable) quieter bronze bush type,then you will get a whistle

OZONE Friendly... pah, it's only a bit of soot!
Infact if you look closly in a few shots, the tree are smilling, and even hugging the stacks on those trucks..

You could try out my turbo!!
It's pretty beefy sounding...

But most of the turbos on things like those trucks (which do look cool and sound cool) are bigger than your entire 2.2 engine just for the turbo!!!

I doubt you could make yours sound even nearly close to it because the turbo just isn't big enough to get to the speeds and amount of boost they are creating to make those noises..

Shame though, cos a good turbo doesn't sound half bad!
