banter general discussions etc
by andyniagra on Thu Apr 24, 2008 7:08 pm
hello all ive been in discussion with a local quarry owner by me and he is interested in opening his quarry once or twice a month to have play days. his only concern is that he did that before but it never took off and thus left no takings to pay for the insurance . so what im going to try and arrange is a test day at the quarry for all and try and get some feedback to see if its worth opening permanantly. The quarry is located just outside stourbridge, in the midlands and 1 minute away from the motorway, its of good size and hes got alot plant there so he can change it round. The entrance fee would £20 for all day and their is a snack bar to, but as i say i need to get some feedback and see what people think any ideas comments or suggestions would be greatly accepted............. so what do you think, andy

I'm up for giving it a whirl and a bit of a test for him if it's as good as farley last weekend it'll be fantastic and the price don't sound bad as well.
It might be slow but i can go anywhere!

I'd gladly pay £20 for a days play and if there is a butty wagon on site then that is a bonus.
I too am local (but can't work out where the site might be) so that is another bonus point and with it only being a minute from the motorway should appeal to more.
Let's take the guy up on his offer. If it any good, we can spread the word, if not, he tried.
All we need now is a date.
