Re: MUD MUNCHA'S Sick !!!!!Its easy to get dissolusioned (spelling?) when its not working. Cant see the wiring suddenly going off, if its always been run on LPG since you got it and now on petrol theres issues I wonder if there are 2 problems, not connected. I would be tempted to sort starting on lpg first as you know it has run on the lpg, then look to the petrol.
Dropping the exhaust at the cat for a quick spell is an idea, sorry but engines aint my area. Fronty no.4, pimp mobile Treg 3.2 LWB lifted 2.5"

Re: MUD MUNCHA'S Sick !!!!!Good News, well sort of.
Managed to fire it up this morning, again after a battle. and thought I would turn it around in the drive, so instead of the front pointing down to the bottom of the drive (drive has a slight slope, maybe about 1 foot in about 18 foot over all length) to front would be facing up hill to a degree. Drove it out, just, with hand over snorkle managed to turn it around and drive it back in the drive. got out and noticed some rather pretty multicoloured rainbow patches on the wet drop down drive bit. On closer examination it seems that the Reason there was no petrol in it when I brought it was because it was dumping it on the road when the engine was running, due to the fuel pipe been split at the fuel filter tank side end. Just cut the spilt out and re attached it, new jubilee clip and tried it. Seems alot smoother on tick over, still hesitates but will now accelerate (just) when you plant your foot to the floor over 2500 rpms. Still dont explain the lack for running on LPG but its a start.

Re: MUD MUNCHA'S Sick !!!!!I know weve allready spoke. But from what i just read reminds me of my 2stroke genny. When i finish useing it i turn of the fuel and let it run on so it uses up the excess fuel in the carb, just as its about to run out the engine revs up then dies. Wich basically means the fuel mix has got week and its drawing the wrong fuel to air ratio. This is what you said happend to mudmuncha. He seems to me to be getting to much air not enough fuel so dont discount the fuel pump not giving you the correct pressure all of the time. As for the LPG Are you one hundred % sure it has got fuel and the gauge aint knackerd cause i woulnt trust it with all that bad wireing. I'll try and get to you tomorow ok mate. Keep your chin up.

Re: MUD MUNCHA'S Sick !!!!!Not the Lamda Ste,it senses content of exhaust gases & then adjust air/fuel ratio to suit. So the engine has to be running for it to work, failed Lambda normally has erratic/fluctuating idle speed.
