bmw for a 2.5

ok i was out to day and got talking to some one who owned a r-reg 2.5, and we got to a point in the conversation where they where looking for a car and i was just looking, any way the question came up about swoping my bmw for his fronty,
so how good is the 2.5 and for all you 2.5 drivers out there i know you will be biest, so tell me what to look for, and if its a good deal,

If the 2.5 drives well, not holding back and no management light on they are great cars, bit iffy ( electrics)to fix.

They are a tad more powerful than the 2.8's but the 2.8's win over simplicity of repairs.

If its a good its will be worth it, cant cost anymore than a broken BMW to fix

he did say that it failed its mot yesterday on a broken spring, he was just geting a new one

I snapped a leaf spring on a toyota liteace years ago. Was a hoot to drive as one of the front wheels kept lifting when I turned corners at anything above 15mph.

Yer but snapping a coil is a bit harder

i snapped both front on my old cortina,looked like it had lowered suspension cortinas dont like hump back bridges
