Re: laning where ?No worries
Be prepared to pickup some scratches, when they say it gets quite scratchy they are not kidding There are sections that are tight and the bushes on either side although they had been trimmed the paint work did take a big hit None of the fords are anything to worry about, not very deep so no risk of any water damage. Most of the surfaces were good, you will not need mud tyres, Rich2.4i did it on std boots There are loads of gates, more than I can remember, not just on the lanes but roads too Tulip 25: Very scratchy, if there has been heavy rain this will get very muddy, be careful to avoid damage. There is one tight twisty bit past an old fallen tree, be careful not to slide into it Tulip 47: The road section before the lane has no passing points, send the lead truck up first to the gate to check for cars coming down before calling the rest up. Tulip 55: They are not kidding when they say very heavy side slope, it is but even though you feel like it wants to go it is OK. It slopes to the right and there is a high bank to your right to catch you but take it slow, stay tight to the right as best you can and watch out for overhanging branches, you will be ok, take it one truck at a time. Tulip 78: When you get into the farm yard, go straight through and round the back of the farm house, NOT in front. You will not see the lane until you get past the farm house and until then you think you are going the wrong way Tulip 80: This is where I stopped, it was 6pm and getting dark Most of all, enjoy, spledid views, nice set of lanes, would love to go back and do it again Soon to be without a Frontera after 10 years of owning one

Re: laning where ?I remember a couple of years back when I lived in Dublin a double decker bus toppled over, falling into a shop front and killing and injuring a few pedestrians. The killer (no pun intended) though was that the bus was stationary at the time and had been for a few minutes beforehand! Will fish out the newspaper articles.
