intruder alarm problems, help!!

Postby joy thomas on Sat Apr 05, 2008 8:31 pm

Hello, Can anyone help? My intruder alarm goes off intermittently for no apparent reason. It may be okay for 3 days or 5 days then it will go off once a day, twice a day or sometimes 3 times, on the drive, on the road at work where I park and even sometimes in the garage. I cannot work out what the problem is, possibly a dodgy sensor. If anyone has any suggestions I will be grateful. Thanks Joy

If it is the high pitched one then it could be the power sounder that is under the inner wing - when they run out of their battery they go mad for some reason. Mine started at midnight one night and could not stop the flipping thing for more than 10 mins. A real pain but my brother ripped it out and it is just fine now! Did not affect the normal alarm - that still works!
