Re: laning where ?Yeah its not laning but theres a load of us down there on 20th april and be enough of us on hand to help out check on midlands events
It might be slow but i can go anywhere!
Re: laning where ?Unfortunately, our neck of the woods (I'm in Walsall) is devoid of a good network of lanes, that's why I often take groups over the border into Wales.
The Midlands group have a social meet on Sunday and a play day later in the month as mentioned earlier. Pop along to the Play day to get used to how to handle your 4x4 in a safe environment then when you get to go laning, you'll have a little more experience to assist in peventing damage to either the lanes or your vehicle. Re: laning where ?wow that sounds like my first ever post,my advice would be to wait for a laning trip to happen and get your name down, you will learn a lot more,by listening to people like trugga ,drift, who have loads of infomation to share, and sound practical advice to give.to find out just what your frontera can do try the pay and play days they are the only way to go in my book

Re: laning where ?Weave mate your more than capable of geting some routes togeher from what Ive read
I think its brill when people get into the laning in the way weave and others have, Alex to name another, gives me a warm cosy feeling thinking Ive helped and I know Trugga feels the same ... but not to close Ste

Re: laning where ?dunno about that mate i still feel like i am learning ,I would love to have a go at leading a group though,i thought about asking alex if he fancied leading one and i would be the follow car ,i would need to learn some routes and get some maps together before i had a go at leading a group.plus plenty of advice from the masters

Re: laning where ?I think we might have to run that Shropshire route I have (viewtopic.php?f=44&t=13461).
It would be a chance for Weave to lead, me to follow up the rear and communicate via CB (to confirm route directions if required) and space for a couple of newbies in between. Lawrence

Re: laning where ?I still have the TOR route for Shropshire that needs airing. Anyone fancy coming along to make the numbers up, maybe next Sunday the 13th? Dont want to lead a big group, or any new guys till Ive done a recon first.
If it looks suitable, could look into a more organised run with a space for Andy of course Fronty no.4, pimp mobile Treg 3.2 LWB lifted 2.5"
