Re: Another shock questionJust a quick warning about importing Items from the states.
You may have to pay a customs fee, a Royal Mail handling fee and VAT on the items BEFORE you acutally recieve them. This happened to MRS MUCKER ( ) with a saddle (extra cost was over £25.00) and it also happened to MANNY (Stu) with his new turbo (extra cost was over £30.00)You have been warned.
Re: Another shock questionIt also happened to me i imported something from the states. (Bumbo play tray cost an extra £18)
Get the person sending you the item to tick the gift box on the customs dec. It might get through without any extra charge. ROADS? WHERE WERE GOING WE DON'T NEED ROADS!!

I've imported loads of stuff from the U.S. - never had a problem with customs Also ive used this service before and very frequently it actually works out cheaper than the sellers international shipping! http://cgi.ebay.com/USA-Online-Personal ... dZViewItem Are they good shocks though? Re: Another shock questionI had to pay an extra £60 odd when my bits arrived from the states.
Re: Another shock questionIf you can get them to ship to UK ask them to put used spare parts on the docket with a much lower value than sold at, you may not have to pay any import duty (it's not like we dont pay enough already)
Re: Another shock questionSkyjacker are used a lot in the states, think my mate has used the skyjacker lift kit on his jeep, you need a ladder to get in it, it was in TOR a few months ago .
