oil pumps

Does any body know what the difference is if any between an oil pump for the 2.0 litre engine and the 2.2 ecotec engine. Will they interchage? Apperently there is a round pick up tube and an oval pick up tube. Any body got any clues?
The tensioner mounting point has broken off mine this morning and destroyed the exhaust valves so no Wales trip for me this weekend

The timing belt tensioner mount has broken off the oil pump. So the belt goes loose and the exhaust valves are toast.

I have the head off already though and have sorted exhaust valves head gasket set but I cant find the right oil pmp on flea bay so its on the way to being mended....always positive

if your ecotec is the X22XE then I think the X20XE is the same pump.
