Re: Just wondering....... possible long term projectI was going to use the chevy motor as it was completely rebuilt and has loads of tuning goodies on it already.
Used to live in a Vauxhall Cresta custom ("Crestalmighty") It's been regularly turned over so it's not seized or anything. Four barrel Holley carb,Alloy Manifold, dual point Mallory ignition, tubular headers, isky cam ....etc etc. It used to put out way over 300 hp. V6 Isuzu Vehicross
Re: Just wondering....... possible long term projectOne will definitely fit into an A series as I looked at getting it done to my old 2.3LWB, however the engine I had sourced fell through. Needs a little work around the inner wings and may need a few permanent adjustments elsewhere....
Not sure if the B series has more room in the engine bay or not.... '99 3.2V6 Auto Limited.
Some day it will be how I want it to be...
Re: Just wondering....... possible long term projectYou'd probably have to uprate the front torsion bars to take the extra weight.
Might be an opportunity to investigate coil-overs. Lawrence
Re: Just wondering....... possible long term projectI'm thinking body off for the conversion (to make things easier).
Possibly "Flip" front so's I could do away with the inner wings If they prove to be a problem. Like the idea of "Coil overs"! V6 Isuzu Vehicross
Re: Just wondering....... possible long term projectSounds like a great idea mate, you cant beat the sound of those V8s Go for it
Re: Just wondering....... possible long term projectBeen out with the measuring stick.... looks like it'll fit in there! ..........Might need a bit of a bonnet bulge to clear the 4 barrel!
V6 Isuzu Vehicross
Re: Just wondering....... possible long term projectOoo, flip front, slammed, chopped, tunneled, tubbed rear arches, wide and narrow's, zoomies, pearl flake, jag IRS with a HA front
