Re: GAS FRONTERAYep, still converted to gas. As carls says, it's ok if you don't mind losing your boot space in a SWB.
This is what happens when fitted : ![]() Nice, snug fit. One pit fall I came across was the acutal gas conversion and your insurance. Most insurance companies wont insure you on converted cars unless you have a update safety certificate. Which after several enquiries, I found was about 1.5 hours work and at a cost of around £135.00 + VAT + Parts + Labour You will also probally find your insurance will also be more expensive. I was quoted over £700 (34 years old, no points, no accidents, in ST7 postcode, 2 years ncd), plus the cost of the safety certificate, + the cost of someone to authenticate the alarm which was as a catagory 2 and provide a certificate (another £30 + a new alarm if it was'nt approved. At present, my insurance on my other truck, FUDDY MUCKER, with all the modifications is only £204. A total cost not far off £1000, before I even got a MOT done on it ......... That why PROJECT "MUD MUNCHA" was decided.
Re: GAS FRONTERALPG has not effected my premium in any way.
Also, it would seem that for some, insures are jumping on a easy cash hike band wagon, dont let them have your http://www.crag-uk.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: GAS FRONTERA

I have no additional costs???
The only reason I had all these additional costs was I purchased the truck, with LPG already on, without relevent paper work. If your having a complete new system fitted, by a authorised supplier, than you will receive all the relevent information from the fitter and your insurance company won't have any problems.
thats sounds better thanks for that,have to check out ptices for installation,who can any one reconmend
Re: GAS FRONTERAIs ther any reduction on road fund tax if you run on gas?
