advice on biojust a little advice on bio,my 2.3 ran great on it,but! and i mean but!!!!!!,the 2.8 is a different matter.it cost me £208 last week because i broke down.the bio itself wasn't flowing easy through the system due to what i can describe as shavings of congealed bio.the garage had to attach a electric pump to get the stuff flowing.it also clogged the fuel pump.so if your thinking of using bio then think twice,or try a bio additive to stop it congealing.
Re: advice on bioGood sound advise there lyndbo
but ..like we have said before ........."we told you so"
Re: advice on bioThat will always happen in colder weather, it turns to Fat.
On other forums I've read that they add white spirit to the bio, then put into the tank, the ratio of bio/diesel has to be reduced (more diesel) in winter, and fuel pre-heaters are needed too....but unless these are done correctly, it will always clog in winter.......just think what lies in the bottom of the tank... What have I told you about Thinking Erroll??
Re: advice on bioyou could add a fuel heater to stop it congealing. try these guys i did it to the wife car works great. my fronty still runs on dino diesel
