Anyway, first lane is one I've not done for some time...




I must point out that obviously the lanes were very wet and that there was a lot of water laying in the ruts.
This one looked fun:

But, it was a bit deeper than it looked.
I had a soggy air filter moment and two foot wells flooded with water - turns out I never refitted the gear lever gaiter properly after changing the engine). The engine kept going this time though with only a hint of steam from the exhaust - it couldn't have been that bad as Ste made it through OK:

Nitro didnt fancy a soaking (me neither) so circumvented the water (or tried to - but did eventually)...


Anyway, moving on.
I understand that the lane down by the horse riding stables has been TRO'd (convenient, for the stables), so I navigate around it to it's other end to rejoin it's continuation.

Nice little lane, that required a bit of trimming - come on Ste, you can reach that surely:

To round off my day, we made our way over to White Stones - the one with the side slopes and slippy slate:



I made my excuses and made my way home, nursing a wet air filter and damp carpets. Drifty and Nitro continued up onto the Wayfarer.
Not a bad day out. We met bike'rs, quad'ers, walk'ers, cylcle'rs and horse'rs - all very civilised.
