Sounds like the air filter could be blocked or (as Ive found out) brakes could be binding.
The rocker cover leak wouldnt be to serious just tighten it up easy peesy.

I went back and had another look at the 2.8 today,
I got them to jack it up and had a good look around it all - Both rear brakes seem to be binding and both front wheel bearings are a Little wobble 
The rear diff cover was OK But the oil in there looked like it had go water in it as it was a creamy white colour . Also took her for another drive down the road to a mud track that is owned by the next door farmer that we do work for, & tryed it in 4WD and it makes alot of noise when in 4H not so much in 4L -  Any ideas as what this would be ?
Anyway the garage would not do any other sort of deal still what £500 & my truck . 
So i will leave this one & see if i find a better one  I Like this Truck of mine, just like me it's well run in it's not old just older.

Diff could have a little water in through the breather or very very old oil.
Brakes binding could be handbrake sticking or calipers, could even possibly be a rear diff problem. Keep looking, I would, a goodn will turn up Ste
