Freelander VS Frontera

i am absolutely thrilled to bits with my fronty, so many things are better than the freelander

the freelander had a fair bit of roll when cornering, sometimes i felt like i might slip of the seat, uncomfy as well, sat awfy high up compared to the dash level
it was bouncy
its interior and dashboard was plain, boring, no character, dated
and worst of all was the swimming pool in the boot (which apparantley all freelanders suffored from to some extent) where the lockable cubby hole holding the jack etc under the carpet was. i scooped out 35 pints of rain water one week and had to do this on a weekly basis cause it rains a lot here! because of the water the seats etc felt damp and cold and the windows were always steamed up and frozen on the insides in winter ( the heaters were poop as well)
apparently the water was coming in through the screws holes where the boot window seal and the roof met, so the roof carpet was soaked at the back also.
however because it was the 2ltr td4 it was quite rapid, but was just a boring characterless vehicle

now the fronty doesnt roll nearly as bad, hardly at all
the steering is a lot more sensitive and can corner more tightly
its comfy, the seating position is braw and the dash etc is cool as
better visibility, although less window area, i have two sunroofs, braw
the engine seems to be a bit of a mover (only 35000m otc) and its quiet
the standard cd system sounds really good
the only down and this is a very minor down that im more than happy to live with is that there isnt as much door cubby hole space for eric clapton and led zepplin cds and stuff, there is one in the middle, but i got a lotta cds

the fronty really is a pleasure to drive, has so much character and appeal and i cant wait to take it off road

easy way round the lack of cubby space.

IPOD! :D mine hides away in my centre console (A Series) so no one knows its there.

As for the rest. i agree. Ive driven a freelander nad was not impressed.
