If there's any members on here could someone please have a quick look on the GLASS forum and see if theres anylife on there? I've spent the last week trying to get registered and don't seem to be getting very far, very quick...
Just wondring if it's still going.
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered  ) Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... I have never been a member of GLASS cut as far as I know its still running. Funny you mention this as CRAG is having a resurgence at the moment, a few of the guys and myself are discussing how to push the group forward and future membership, I will post up when there is firm news But as for GLASS not a clue whats going on there

Still waiting for signs of life from GLASS... Quick enough to take the fees on the 16th though

No, it shouldnt, esp as it costs beer tokens to join the GLASS setup. As far as I can make out the joining process used to be post based, they are now highlighting the new(?) online signup route, so having followed the 'online' shop link and noted the payment leave the account within nanoseconds I would have fully expected things to move quickly and access to the site etc within minutes via an automated system tied to the pay system. Seemingly not... Sad reflection really and hopefully not an indication of normality, if it is then I can see why the anti green lane groups are currently winning the argument.

Sadly it is an indication.
I contacted the 'local' rep about a fairly major issue and I got a reply nearly 3 weeks later. The issue had been resolved with the local plod by then. Utter waste of time.
