THE FOG WOODS IN THE SE IN TOTAL OF ROAD!!!Wotcha foggers...
It gives Sally and I, and everyone else who has toiled and supported our woods project over the last 4 years, great pleasure to announce that our efforts have been both acknowledged and rewarded in this months TOR magazine, out to subscribers today, and hitting the newsagents in the next day or so. So a huge thankyou goes out to all of you who have made this happen. As you are probably aware, we used our woods for a TOR photoshoot for some cars at the last meet, but also to run a feature on FOG and us as group and what has been accomplished. This feature is out this month, so grab a copy of TOR before they are all gone. We would as a group like to welcome anyone who has read the feature, and has been sufficiently interested to get this far and join FOG and have a look... Welcome aboard, say Hi in the members section, and have a gander in the area sections for things going on in the future that you to can be a part of. Thanks everyone who has been a part of this, especially Sally, and big thanks also to Alan from TOR magazine for his support in running this feature and writing it so well in his magazine. Dont forget also to keep an eye in future issues for the lads cars who were photographed to, in fact I cant think of a better time to subscribe to TOR as they do some great subscription offers... Thanks again...and try and make our weekender August BH to join in the acknowledgment and celebration of 4 years of our kind of fun Check out the index thread below where pics/reviews from all our past meets can be found!!!!

Re: THE FOG WOODS IN THE SE IN TOTAL OF ROAD!!!I must say that was quite a good read. I learnt quite a bit more about the Woods than that I had previously gleaned off this forum.
Having mentioned to Greg that I would be visiting for the August Weekender, I can only say that I am now, having read the feature, a little more enthused. The feature really portrayed FOG in the way I have known it for a long time; a group of mates who just happen to own Frontera. I noticed when the BBB was featured in TOR a few years ago, the editors really do know how to get information out of you, and the information that is missing when they write their piece, is extrapolated form their experiences and their perception of you. In my case they got me spot on (except my beverage preference). In the Wood/Greg's' case, I think they were pretty much on the mark too - I'll find out next weekend. Looking forward to next months issue now Lawrence
Re: THE FOG WOODS IN THE SE IN TOTAL OF ROAD!!!I've not read it yet, but sounds like a cracking piece and more to go with the various cars that were done.
Would've been nice to have had the BBB there, just for a quick pic to say she's still going Newsagent's on the morning then.... Jim...

Re: THE FOG WOODS IN THE SE IN TOTAL OF ROAD!!!Gotta say the feature came out brill, Alan did good....well pleased and proper chuffed for everyone who has been a part of this...
This time 4 yrs ago we were umming and ahhing about this piece of land that I might be able to get use of, and we met as a bunch of strangers really, having only chatted on the forum before... And yet now 4 years down the line its great to think that not only have we made loads of great friends, had some brilliant gatherings and helped loads of willing victims explore the hidden talents of their 4x4's and hone their driving skills... ...but to top this we have created something worthy of featuring in the very magazine that gave most of us our first inspiration to drag it skywards and slap some muds on... Everyone should be really proud, and that extends to those who havent been down but have supported and encouraged us along the way on the forum. Well done EDIT...Just a thought...but felt I should add this, please can we NOT post the actual images/feature on the forum, as this is breach of copyright, something which I feel would be very unrespectful given the cracking job that Alan and TOR have done creating this feature in their magazine.... Members need to buy and read the mag to see what this is all about, or go to a meet where you can read someone elses! When this is no longer current, and is more kinda archive with TOR, I will have a word with Alan and see if then we can post it on here for posterities sake. Thanks for your cooperation fellas. Picked mine up in our local W.H. Smith yesterday Steve - sorry mate, only just read your reply because I could have easily picked on up for you - they had loads on the shelf, £4 a pop. Let me know, I can easily go back up town and do the honours for you.
