First off I would like to say thank you Sally and Greg for yet another blindings picnic.
Jim well done in the kitchen.

I took little blue out on her maiden voyage (after fixing the head gasket, replacing the tank carrier) and I must say I was very surprised at how well she did.
For a little leafer running standard size tyres and no lift she went every where I pointed her.
ROADS? WHERE WERE GOING WE DON'T NEED ROADS!!

Hi guys first off thanks to Greg and Sally for a grate day out and thanks to Jim for his culinary skills
It was only my second time out in the woods and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The shogun held up well, I didn't break anything important so I consider that a success. Sorry to anyone I held up when I managed to beach the truck 3 times but hay it wouldn't be fun if you didn't get stuck
This can only end badly

Was an awesome day yet again. Greg and Sal have got these meetings down to a fine art now.

I started the day early and went via Beccles in Suffolk to grab a work friend (Tracey) and her other half Glynn, then via Chelmsford for another work friend Derek. Trundled down and arrived around 10ish. Loads of people there and plenty of laughs. Didn't get to do any driving as I was too busy chatting, getting my 2.8 birds nest removal fix (RetroPedro) and running shotgun in andytats Disco. I have to admit that I was very impressed with the way the Disco handled the woods. It can be an unforgiving course (as Andy proved later when he came back with the many battle wounds described above) but the old Landy took it in its stride.

Funny you should say that, i have permission now the hulk has made it through the MOT and will be getting MT's fitted :D  only downside is that i will only be able to make the picnic and not the work day, i dont want to be rude and not do both though... I could always suppliment my lack of work day with meat for a BBQ though as my uncle is a butcher......

I'm with everybody else with the thanks to Greg and Sal for their efforts once again and Jimbo for the cooking.
Also big thanks to Neal for pulling out the bird's nest and Phil for the blanking cap

I'm afraid no piccies from me on this occasion, spent most of the time driving (with no breakages).
Got to admit, got a bit bubbly about doing an upward slope, but after Steve done the first climb, got my confidence back to have a go and felt better for it.

Sorry I missed this one but i was at the Landy Rally reunion at the Adventure overland show.
Now the LWB seems to be running ok I hope to make the trek down a little more often.
I would prefer a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.
