WTF am i driving?

I bought it as an Opel Frontera RS Sport . I knew it had a front end bump as the bonnet has been replaced with a Vauxhall one. The log book classes it as an Opel Frontera RS Sport 3 door ESTATE ( surely its the hatch ???)
The mot has it down as a Vauxhall, when i queried it with VOSA they said if its got a Vauxhall badge on it ,it gets tested as a Vauxhall ???? However when it got tested this time i pointed it out to the tester and he changed it to Opel only to find out that Opel didnt make a fronty according to the computer?? so its still a Vauxhall on the mot.
Im currently searching ebay for a Ferrari bonnet badge to really confuse the muppets at VOSA next year
Have tried tracing it with Vauxhall as to where it was first sold as the speedo is in miles not km and they were really helpful but with no definitive answer.

So is it an Opel RS Sport estate or a Vauxhall RS Sport hatchback ?

Thats two of us then. Mine is an Opel but the log book and MOT both say Vauxhall. I like mine being an Opel just to be a little different.

They are classed as estates on the log, dont know the reason but all the sports are.
The the Frontera was built at Luton by Vauxhall and exported to Europe as Opel Frontera, yours may have been meant for British Forces Abroad or Gibraltar or something like that hence its right hand drive with an Opel badge, this was very common when a member of the Armed Forces bought a new car and it was ordered in Germany a while ago.
The new MOT should just go on the Reg number and if the registration says Opel thats what will show.

Opel the spanish /german version of vauxhal l ?? So if in rome.......its a vauxhall !

could of come outa the south of ireland, vauxhalls are all badged as opels down there and a few years ago with the exchange rate a real bargan could be had. usually irish imports came fully loaded with every extra
