I advertised my car on there nearly a week ago, as spares or repairs due to the electrical glitch, and a guy got in touch just before the weekend saying he was very interested. On the weekend it developed a problem with the immobiliser and would only start once and then the batt would have to be disconnected and once connected, it would start once! I told the guy and he was still interested.
He has put a bid on the site at my starting price, but prior to that, he messaged me and offered me more cos I'd told him my ideal amount that I was after so he offered about half way.
Anyway, the immob is now fixed but as he has put a low bid on, yet offered me more in a PM, what do I do to make sure I'm not being mucked about - the auction ends this afternoon and I won't be able to get to a computer after half 10.
I admit I've never sold anything of any worth on Ebay before and not up to scratch with the in's and out's of what constitutes a 'deal'. I didn't put a buy it now price on cos it cost extra and I thought I can always get the amount I've started at, from the scrappie so why pay to advertise it! Maybe I shudda tho
