Well i've bought it and christened it "FUGLY" . Suppose I had best buy a socket set and some spanners now

Proper question..... will my spare set of 16" trispoke alloys fit on it without looking stupid or causing issues?

Your spare 16's will go on, although will probably sit well inside the arches what with it being a leafer. Good luck with the project though mate.

I had a similar problem with mine (not the newer one) we pulled two pipes of turned it over a fuel started to pump through, jobs a good un.

Having stripped a tank recently Paul i can do that bit for you, testing relays i guess with a haynes manual we maybe able to muddle through.

Send me a pm if you want a hand one evening, working next weekend and probably most of it.

Havent looked yet ended up working the door all weekend on a shitehole bar in Leighton Buzzard such joy, will get on to it shortly . Will probably take the relay out of Dave and try it in Fugly if that does not present an issue with Dave.

Then if that fails drop the tank and swear lots

Fugly will have the earlier C20NE engine whereas Dave has the X20XE engine. Best check the relays are the same first.

Dunno if I can be arsed to fix Fugly so is there much interest in breaking it?

Please bear in mind though I dont want to be left with a hoodless wreck on my drive so the wheels will be last to go !!!!

I know what it owes me and the plans to turn it on to a pick up have had to be put on hold had my work hours cut so its an expense I cant afford.

So make me an offer for the thing as it is or for bits. If you want/need anything heavy you got to come collect it cos I aint got the kit to lift it

Update ....

Just been out and had a proper look over it. Its filthy and smells (bloody smokers) but its only got 89k on the clock and seems solid enough so have got another dose of optimism that I can fix it Wont last tho im sure !!
