What a bummer, but it is likely the right thing as the whole week looks like a wash out :(

Not sure the weather forecast is going to change between now and 22.00 Andy, and to be fair it's better to give people as much notice as possible.

But as Bobby says, there's absolutely nothing stopping anyone else going regardless of the weather.

i know ste thre is a bank of cloud over ireland that will come in in the morning but at the rate it is traving with a little wind pushing from the north we may miss the most of it being up north and with the wind it should blow over quickly you can see the bank on her and from following its path it is going to wet in the overnight and early morning but we will have to pray for some the wind to pick up

http://www.meteox.co.uk/h.aspx?r=&jaar=-3&soort=loop1uur

i am coming north anyway as i need to pick up some bits if andy so would be a shame not to go the extra mile and at least take a peak at the beach if some of the others are willing or else it will be a case of scouse land for the day and see what there is to do without stopping long enough for the locals to get me up in bricks he he he
