Mad March Weekend, The Sequel Reviewcome on then folks tell us all about it and leave no details out
Re: Mad March Weekend, The Sequel ReviewFirst things first. Thank you Graeme (Postfinder) for the organising of this weekend, it's because of people like you that the FOG community is what it is. Top bloke
Superb weekend again with some cracking people. Great to meet some new faces (to me) and catch up with some old ones (Drifty ) From what I remember of the weekend, it went something like this. 5 miles from home rear n/s wheel virtually falls off (all 6 studs right on the end of threads ) Open glove box shortly after to put sat nav in cradle and realise that it's in the Dti Meet fellow foggers in Bala and buy a large bottle of Scotch. Get to campsite unpack everything put tent up and realise I have forgotten all my cutlery Open up tool chest in back of truck and realise that the BBQ lighter fuel I had taken had leaked all over the back of the pickup and I'm smoking Sit around fire and open bottle of Scotch - drank 99% of it and was last man standing (sitting) around the camp fire singing 'Kum by yah my lord' Went to bed at 4am Woke at 7.00am by sheer coldness and what sounded like cows being raped Went laning for the day - did some cracking lanes with truly spectacular views and some nice fun bits (Happy Valley) - expertly navigated by Spencer and Alex - Big thanks to both those guys for all the gate opening and to Postfinder (Graeme) for shutting them all Got back to the camp site after a very iffy pizza and fell asleep round the camp fire. Into bed for 10.30pm Woke up this AM semi warm - cows still being raped, but there is also what sounds like a pack of feral dogs attacking something/someone. Nice easy lanes today, but no less spectacular than the previous day's laning. Gentle drive home this afternoon - the pick up was absolutely perfect, didn't miss a beat! There is probably loads that I have missed out, but I'll come back to this thread later and fill in the gaps. Vids and pics are uploading as we speak
Re: Mad March Weekend, The Sequel ReviewDidn't take many pics, but what I did take can be found here > http://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g85/b ... March2011/ Vids are better and will are uploading now but may take a while
Re: Mad March Weekend, The Sequel ReviewHi All
Like to say a huge Thank You to Graeme (Postfinder) for organising the event I did have to text Graeme Friday Morning to find out exactly which campsite it was held on but I got there in the end lol Also like to thank everyone who made it to the Mad March Weekend, it was great seeing old faces and meet new members too Friday Night even thou I wasn't drinking I managed to fall over a fence and got a nice bruised Leg I didn't take Gracie May laning on Saturday as she has a fuel leak and the hand break doesn't hold all that well, also didn't want to break her before the annual meet so Thanks to Fronty Dan who let me sit in with him in the morning and Andy who let me sit with him in the afternoon,Thanks very much Guys.. See told you Andy I knew my way back from Bala to the campsite Thanks to Sir Doris for the lanes that he chose on Saturday, and thanks to the guy who opened the gates, sorry don't know his name Hope you all got home safe and sound and not too much damage done to your Fronty's at the weekend.. Re: Mad March Weekend, The Sequel ReviewI suggested that to Stevd but he had to go back to the site to get Owen's car and I was a bit pushed for time, although I don't know why I rushed Tracey and the kids were watching Brokeback Mountain when I got in
The rest of the vids can be found here >>>> http://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g85/b ... 11%20vids/ I suppose I better go and unpack the car

Re: Mad March Weekend, The Sequel ReviewSome cracking vids and piccy's guy's, thanks for the new wallpaper Laurence, but still like the stream
Well Special thanks to Phill, for organizing the lanes, and leading on both days, along with Alex. And to Trugga for leading on the Saturday and Badboy for the Sunday. I think it was a record that no one had any major breakdowns that prevented them completing the lanes on both days, and I hope everyone made it home without any problems. Now the Biggest Thanks of all goes out to all of you for making it a great weekend for me. This was YOUR weekend and YOU made it possible, I hope that you all enjoyed it. Also, Thanks to our groups gate openers and closers Spencer, Tony and James Oh, and Andy, G.
Re: Mad March Weekend, The Sequel ReviewBack after being fed and showered and getting Jess to bed.
I for one had a ball and didnt even get that drunk, only 5 or six cans Friday and a large rum, should have had more to block out the one lined hymn that was ringing out till 4 in the morning BOXCLEVER A great days laning Saturday and named a new lane..."Shittty lane" 8" of cow poo and our cars stank afterwards, the farmer even asked if we would like to go back and drive up it, we laughed politely and drove off. Anyway pics and vids in no particular order, some may be offensive as Andy appears in them Ste
