Green Flag, thats a wise move, there was a period when every time I went out in my old swb, it would break down in the Shrewsbury area and I always got the same breakdown driver... Patrick.
Think I'd better give em a ring and warn em im one the way

Just bumping this, as there is one of us that hasn't been on the forum since the 15th or read his pm's so I think he might be going to the wrong campsite
Hope you all have a safe and uneventful journey,
See Ya There :D :drink:

....................................Directions for Camp Site..................................................................

The entrance to the campsite can be a bit difficult to find for the first time and using the postcode in your Sat Nav or Google maps will find you about a mile away
If you look on the linked map, you will find the entrance to the farm in what appears to be a Lay Bye on the A487.
Coming South from the direction of Chester or Shrewsbury the entrance is on the right hand side of the road or on the left if coming North from the direction of Machynlleth.

See Map: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie ... 4d64d&z=19

I hope to get there early and park the truck on the road so you'll be able to spot it easier.

If anyone is in difficulty finding the site, we will be monitoring channel 10 on the cb for those that are near enough to pick up a signal from, and to avoid any other confusing traffic on channel 8 mainly from LR owners. Or you should have received my mobile number via PM by then, but can't remember if there is a signal

Well not long now folks,
G.

Well Ive fished all my camping gear out from the nooks and crannies around the house, and found a pasty that should feed me for the weekend and put the cooler blocks in the freeze to keep the beer cool and as a treat I found a mars bar, just in case I get a raging hunger :D

Now just hope Andys tent is waterproof :D

Thats nothing to worry about, should still be ok, unless the use by 1999
We have an old woman of 93 in our family who will still eat eggs 3 months after the lion mark/ date, dont rekon I'd like to try and see if this would lengthen my lifespan though
