Hi, I've got a 3.2 v6 frontera 2001 and a broken RH ABS sensor. After looking on the internet and this forum I came across Vauxhall-car-parts. They had this sensor on offer so I ordered it. Also made another appointment for MOT two weeks later thinking that the part would be in by then. It is weeks later and the part is still not in. That is not the only problem. I have been calling and emailing them to get a estimate on the delivery date. NO REPLY to emails and the times when I called they said, they would call/email me back by the end of that day. This had not happened yet. I was just wondering has anyone else had these experiences with them or is this just my luck Thanks

Is this "Vauxall car parts" you are meaning (not Vauxhall car parts), if have you read their terms & conditions, especially para 5? Until I read the t&c's I thought they were a warehouse

I had the same problem mate, i ordered both abs front sensors for my V6 from Vauxhall Car Parts 3 weeks ago. The right hand sensor is on back order from the suppliers, i even rang my local Vauxhall dealers and they said the same, they currently have 56 people waiting for the right hand sensor. I got an Email on Friday saying my sensors were on the way, so will see when/if they arrive. And just to add, they are cheaper than main Vauxhall dealers, each sensor was £30 cheaper!

I had a reply from them today saying they still couldn't give a estimate when the part was coming. So I cancelled the order. They appologized for any inconvenience and said the would give a refund. They did straight away.... So looks like not a problem with Vauxhall car parts apart from not responding to emails.
Partnumber is 97169506. RH side
Part here in the netherlands cost 365 pounds.....rip off!!!

Part number 97169506 is on BackOrder from the supplier and has been for a while. Currently there are over 50 orders waiting in the system for this part to arrive. Regards Broders01

My parcel arrived today, but it was just the left side abs sensor, so i rang again, they still say the right hand sensor is on back order, with no idea of delivery date.

I will keep checking the part number and let you know when the supplier has shipped some to Vx
After digging around some more the news is not good. GM currently have a order placed with Isuzi America for this part number but Isuzi have given no indication if they are going to provide the part or even if they are continuing to manufacture it. Would be an idea to start looking around the scrappy to see if you can get one.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Just a quick update on this. Just received a call from Vauxhall Car Parts, the ABS sensor is due for delivery mid september. Not bad, only 7 months since ordering one!

Not there fault Drift, none available from Vauxhall. I`ve been told Isuzu USA are having to have them made up for the UK market, then sent over. Quite a few on back order from various outlets.

Never had a problem with them and Iv ordered a fair few bits off them over the years. They were particularly good when I lived in Ireland with a relatively fast delivery time.
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it! Me Truck
