I reckon we have sorted a baby sitter, so thats two nights no kids as the night before we are in the Echo Arena watching John Bishop and a few scoops then Sunday, Midlands

We will have to keep an eye on the weather though as its forecast heavy snow here and there is no way I am getting stuck in a car for the night with that lot

Got Gracie May back today after a few days in the garage sorting out 2 slow punctures and New Battery, the indicator and now she has a leak in the petrol Tank, I had just filled her up as well, ready for Sunday
So not sure if I can make it sorry , taking the car back to the garage tomorrow to see how much damage there is to the tank....

I for one can not wait till this year ends, as its just one thing after another going wrong

We're still up for the party, but it is dependant on:
1. How long the kids let me lye in on Sunday morning. Got a job in Southampton sat night and its a 1 / 2 am finish, then travel home.
2. Weather! We've finally got the snow! so have to see how it goes.

I hope we can make it, as will be good to meet up with some old faces again. Babysitter is booked and really hoping we go (they need the crimbo cash!).

ANDY - Mrs H said make sure your there! She wants to put a face to a name.

Got a few inches of snow here and no vehicles have passed my house for a few hours and they do promise more this weekend
I really want to go but I really want to make it home that night... My problem is I have never driven on snow before and the only time



Sorry to say this, but with the weather as unpredictable as it is , wouldn't it be better to have this meet in the New Year sometime? Just a thought.
Any thoughts please ?

Sorry Folks, this event is now Suspended due to the weather.

I have spoke to Fuddy on the phone and he agreed the meet should be called off and arranged for another date due to the forecast of heavy snow over the weekend.
We do not want anyone encountering any problems getting to or from the meet.

The suggested date at the moment is the first Sunday in February the 6th.

And we will be able to order food on any date after Christmas without booking

Sorry for any inconvenience, but your safety and welfare is more important.

No probs Roo, your post got us thinking and looking at the weather and driving reports we thought it may be the best idea, we dont want anyone getting into difficulties and we want you all there for some silliness

the 6th of Feb is only and idea, we need to know if it suits the majority of those wanting to attained if not we can change the dates
