First, a big big thank you to Greg and Sal for organising yet another fantastic weekend.
For those who I missed, sorry but for personal reasons I had to go home early on Saturday, which for me was a big shame as I had been looking forward to meeting new faces had having :drink: on Saturday evening.

Warning - videos may contain bad language (sorry)

Evening Foggers!

Well what can I say!

Awsome weekender yet again!! Well done Greg and Sal for organising it down to perfection once more!!

Had a absolutly blinding time, (all be that blind drunk on friday night!)

Managed to pick up a few more orgaic mods, including a nice foot long dent in the drivers side sill! Now got the excuse I needed for rock sliders! Think am gunna have to put a new clutch in her now though as all the way home all the right hand pedal did was increase the amount of noise it made rather than increasing the speed! Thanks to Greg for re-attaching my clutch pedal when it fell off though!

Have got some pics and videos that will get posted during the week when get time. Including a few of greg and Louis in the straddling hole!

Was great to meet up with all the regulars again and to see a few new faces.

Thanks to everyone who turned up for making it what it was and see you all at the next one!

Hiya everyone....

Just a quickie post for now as I have manflu and am really suffering after a weekend of next to no sleep, too much beer, walking miles up and down hills, killing myself driving a locked up leafer with NO powersteering....and then finally the cleardown in the pooring rain...

Need many lemsips and sleeps and will do a proper post 2moz....

Thanks everyone who came and supported us, and everyone who helped out to make these weekenders possible...

Blinding weekend of much sillyness and great to see you all as always...hope you all enjoyed, and shame on you all for "encouraging" some of my silly moments!

Thanks guys....

Gregster (and my pet germs!) and Sally...

Weekender was brilliant well Saturday for me

most fun I've had in years, enjoyed getting stuck, hiding under a daihatsu in a hole and learning what my car can do even in standard guise.

Think there was a transformation in my confidence level throughout the day. First time I went up that too bit I was s***ing myself and a few hours in I was smiling in the same situation.

Battle scars:
front indiactor lens
front metal bumper bit
rear number plate
rear bumper corners
rear door dent. Oops I could see that tree when it light still

potato salad and coleslaw went down a treat and can't wait for the next one

Right, the pics and vids have finally uploaded (20meg BB my ar5e)

What a fantastic (as always) weekend and the SE massive came through a blinder again. Great to see all the old gang again and a few new faces too.

A huge thanks to Greg and Sal for arranging it all as usual, and again thanks to Stevie 2stuck and Jim for the cheffing.

I would also like to send a major thanks to greg for quite a bit of expert tuition in more serious offroad driving. As you may have noticed from some of the videos, after a while with greg as co-pilot, I was putting Angelina at angles she has never experienced before and was totally confident in her ability to do whatever I was asking of her.

There was plenty of laughs and jokes, mainly at my expense   and yes Drifty, I didnt have any problems getting wood, and slept like a log, i mean with a log  .

Thanks to everyone who came down for making it a brilliant weekend again and see you all at the next one.

Oh, and the last video is of us proving that the tech data on the fronty is wrong. The roll-over angle of a swb is wayyyyyy more than 45 degrees 8)

Here's the pics and vids

Re: Weekender ..sept 24th 25th 26th 2010 ** REVIEW***

Postby Retro Pedro on Mon Sep 27, 2010 8:08 am

I think we're getting there with the woods - nice social atmosphere, a few tinnies round a camp fire, good bar-be food, decent sounds through the remote disco and a good bit of banter. Brilliant weekend.
Massive thanks the Greg and Sal because I know what they personally put into it to make it happen.
As for the woods themselves, I was part a partner in crime when the holes were being dug on the second digger session - then when we had the following work day, my private thoughts were that we have gone to extreme in places. How wrong was I, plenty of interesting new play areas, improved existing obstacles and as Louie showed, car eating trap to be negotiated with concentration.
Apologies but no piccies from me on this outing - batteries went flat the first time I got the vid out and the new replacements were down in the tent. Plus spent to much time actually driving.
Good to see everybody again a roll on the next one.
