Sorry, silly question! Why does my truck have 3 radiators?
Re: Sorry, silly question!I guess you have an automatic gearbox ?
1) Radiator 2) Intercooler (for turbo) 3) Oil Cooler (for auto` `box) Snap John
Re: Sorry, silly question!is one the air-con??
Re: Sorry, silly question!Could be an oil cooler as well. My guess is the last rad is either aircon, or oil cooler.
Best bet is to trace the pipes coming from it. Main radiator should be easy. Air con should go to the back of the compressor. Oil cooler to the oil filter mount, and finally the Intercooler from the turbo to the inlet. ![]() ![]() My members ride For Banshee the Trooper : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626 My members ride for Leeloo the Lotus Edition viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60154 Deceased My members ride for Brenda the Bighorn : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=54771
Re: Sorry, silly question! Not such a silly question...had me scratching my head when I first opened the body. I had to do exactly what someone above has suggested and followed all the pipes back...and discovered:
-main rad -intercooler (cools the air after the turbo has compressed it, thus giving more power) -oil rad (which has an annoying little leak on the bottom pipe If your's has no air con these 3 are def the best bet, as suggested by other's above.
Re: Sorry, silly question!Alrighty, thanks, that's that cleared up!
