Wotcha Foggers....Today we bid farewell to the 2.5tds which went to JMC to replace his busted 2.3td....The road was then looking sparce in the frontera department... so I took it upon my self to start cleaning some mud off the road (whilst hiding from Sally as I had sold the car she was going to use!!!)...
I sneaked inside to defrost myself a bit and the phone rang....
and it was a fella I spoke to the other day regards selling his wifes fronty.... Needless to say the remaining mud on the road needs not to be cleaned up properly,
as it is now cunningly hidden again,
by another LWB....
Bluey greeny colour....(sal says its blue...I say greeny blue or bluey green!) same colour as Holly the BBB and dwifty's 2.8...
on an N plate..
Its got some issues, needs drivers seat replacing, bonnet needs repainting, rear quarter needs a repair down by the bumper, needs half a ton of hay removing from inside, needs a possible clutch master cylinder, and the alternator seems to be overcharging like Krushers did...
But other than that it drives nice, engines sweet, heaters cr4p, and its got a nice set of wheels on it...
So no need to hide anymore from Sally....just need to fix this one up.... Gave the outside a good clean, and wonderwheel'ed the alloys (16" BK racing deep dish 5 spokes) and she looks alright... Well pleased....another one to get modded up and muddy!! Oh and by the way...... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Its a 2.8 mate!!!

Hay up Greg - Looks like us Turquoise Blues can start matching the snot greens and lilac purples for numbers up at the play site. Apart from the off-road mods, have you got to do anything mechanical on her or is she as sound as a pound? Pedro

Few things to do...Fix the drivers seat, or swap the trim with the one out of the 2.4i, sort out alternator, change N/s mirror, change O/s headlight, bleed clutch (poss replace master cylinder)...fit proper tyres...and swap the bonnet (Sally thinks I have got one the right colour up the workshop...I cant remember)...and re-repair the OSR lower quarter (or stick a huge sticker on it!)... Not too much really...just silly things and a bloody good cleanup... Its had a new clutch 18months ago, water pumps been changed, tested till end of march so a little while to sort any niggles...drives nice, 4wd works fine and it starts first turn of the key... Then start modding it!!! Lift, sliders, big muddies, roofrack etc to come soon
