Well there has always been something about a Frontera that I liked, be it, it's "boxy" shape, how it sits on the road I don't know but right from when they first came out, I have always thought to myself mmmmmmmm, I want one of those one day.
So this June when my G6 wanted toooooo much work doing for it's MOT it was time to trade and what was on the forecourt but my little Tinker-belle.
Yes, it has its foybulls vac pipes, it has started to smoke, the list goes on.
BUT
After last night all I will say is a part will have to drop off before I even start to think of ever getting rid of it, It handled it self with out fault the only faults being of my own doing.
The reason I bring this to mind is what it encounter, and that was the North East costal route from Rosehearty passed Pennen through to Troup head (to pick the wife up from work) so what you think, well one of the first descents is a 10% with a nice hair pin bend halfway down the second ascent was just 5% followed by another sweeping bend with a 100ft drop to one side then the fun really starts with a 20 % decent leading to an "S" bend then you have a breather until you get to the DIP this consist of 500mtr 33% decent with a 30% ascent before you finally get to Troup head.
Well all I will say is it's good fun doing it when it's dry and clear but when the entire road has nothing but SHOT ICE and SNOW it's even better fun and guess who was on it last night but little old Tinker-belle and she handled it with out fault all I will say is I'm well chuffed with my Fronty and now wondering why I didn’t get one before.

and just want to get home to sleep before the next shift
