Had a mess about with truggas fronty pics....

cos I've been thinking about putting a sport "tub" on the chevybravafing in place of the pick up bed with the huge overhang that hits everything....

Wheel base would have to grow a few inches (about a foot!) but when its got the nissan patrol axles and 35's poss 38.5's on it clearance underneath shouldnt be an issue...and would help with rear prop angles anyway with the double tf box set up its getting...
Would have removable lid (ie sport roof), and sport wings on the front....

I kinda quite like it...you thoughts please???????

That last pic looks good, it would make a great/fantastic overlander but as a UK offroader truthfully I think its a bit too long

Its a big long at the moment!!!
Wheel base would grow by a foot, but so would ground clearance with the bigger rubber and a gregspecial live axles swap out lift...
she will be big, most probs I have at the mo are with the overhang, and that would be much less, overall length would be about the same...
Tis a bit of a challenge in the woods, but it went everywhere the sports and gibbos 90 went...just have to think a bit more, and an extra shunt now and again!
Is blinding on climbs though!!

Maybe the answer is to go rear steer as well...now there's a thought!!! ( i have 4 sets of patrol axles.... )

Be careful you dont cut the chassis or its off to the dreaded ministry for a check

Dont get me wrong, I like it but not for practicality off road, you will have to pay attention to the chassis strength and everything will need to be lengthened, just remembered there was a guy with a stretch limo fronty on here a while back and he did all the work himself, could get some pointers from him.

You gotta have a proper back on it.with a nice comfy interior for Roma,she is family as well

I do like the traybacks and you have the advantage of the rear doors, you get the best of both worlds, and you always have Sals car for the mundane stuff

Think, rad on the rear with the spare (you need some weight over it lol) keep a floor in it with storage and room for a rear winch.
Make fitting coils on the rear easier with extended shock mounts

Lets be honest Greg, this is NEVER going to stay the car you meant it to be..... in a few months you have done more than you said you where ever going to do to it

Idea.... weld up rear doors fit front tilting seats (Sport style) you then have a doggie pad in the back
