i have noticed that the replies to some of the questions have been obrupt and to the piont,now that in its self is ok only if the person that started the thread knows there way around a vehicle.But i think that you only have to look at the way they have asked the question if they do or dont,most of the (newbies) have not owned a 4x4 and are new to this sort of thing.its ok for some one to reply with try here and give a link to a thread that has covered there question,a bit of thought into it would be much benafishal.after all there are members on this forum that have been there and had to find out them selves.i my self know my way around vehicles so the arswers are not so doughting.so there for i think that before you give your views on a thread you should think about the person that has put the question

Posting a link to help someone in my mind is the right and correct thing to do if the subject has been covered before.
When I have a problem I use the search function and if Im still stuck then I ask.
We have a huge data base of problems and fixes lets make use of it


Or have I got the wrong end of the stick

no mate you havent im just saying that people that have not been on this site before might be put off buy some of the replys,especially if they dont know how to use this forum

All the guys on here will go out of their way to help anyone, If they post a link they are helping as they have shown where the info is should the new user not be able to work the search function.

If they didnt want to be helpful surely they wouldnt post at all
