Re: what do i need(if anything)get your self along to the bala meet in may, you can do some light off-roading, and check out other trucks,

Re: what do i need(if anything)the easy one is the 2" lift wind the torsion bars up and add extended shackles or spring spacers
The only boundry is your imagination.

Re: what do i need(if anything)Is a B Dave, so would need springs to lift. Standard Trooper or Fronty A coils will lift a B.
That said it will do well standard, a begginer day wold also be a good start. The V6 is a cracker Fronty no.4, pimp mobile Treg 3.2 LWB lifted 2.5"
Fronty no.5 2.8 swb hd coils +2" 31"machos.
Re: what do i need(if anything)flying solo, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Re: what do i need(if anything)Very good as standard, however a good set of tyres will be your first wise investment, then if you want to lift, then a set of standard trooper springs for rear, wind the torsion bars up, and add some plus 2 inch shocks.
If you need some extra protection, fit some metal belly plates to replace the plastic ones. Also have a look to see if you still have the stone gourd above the prop, (centre) if it is still there remove it, or you will need to remove later when it is bent against your prop and making a lot of noise after a few lanes. http://www.crag-uk.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: what do i need(if anything)I think our eyes have gone off the ball here.
All you need for green laning is common sense and to drive within guide lines. Your car is more than capable for most lanes just as it is. Before modifying it think what you want to do in it, that can save you a load of grief and money. Ste

Re: what do i need(if anything)take it out as standard with no mods preferably a pay an play site, then you can do as you please starting with taking it easy and slow to get the feel of wot you are comfortable with, dont go climbing mountains and rocks, stay clear of deep mud, make the day to your likeing, look at other vehicles on how they approach and exit things. you will be surprised at wot you can do and go when in standard format after that you yourself will make your own mind up with the help from others on wot you want to do to your fronty
the first and most obvious thing you will do is bottom out so better to find a place thats not rock orientated, theres no forgiveness in rocks hope you enjoy your day where ever you go http://lancslanes4x4.freeforums.org/portal.php

Re: what do i need(if anything)I still consider mine to be close to standard, ignore the winch and snork, I still run standard springs and shocks, I have 2" coil spacers but that was mainly to raise the towbar up, with the standard shocks I get no more articulation. The front isn't lifted merely tweaked to take the age out of the bars. 31" tyres aren't that much bigger than stock and the wee little thing goes where I need it to. The way the driver approaches or interprets an obstacle is often more beneficial than a 2" body lift etc.
