hi im new, which frontera is best for me ?
Hi everyone im new to the forum im after buying a frontera sport and just wondered what model/engine would suit me best, i will need it to tow cars on long journeys a couple of times a month and it ill also be used an everyday car, and would like something quiet reliable, my budget is 2,500 pounds

You can get a very good late 2.2 DTI Sport for that money, that will more than suit your needs

I'll go along with what Drift says, my 2.2dti is used as an everyday car and tows a 25ft caravan no problem

For towing you will get less see-saw effect with a LWB

Hallo only ever had the 2.2 DTI and I love it..................
 Learnt lots on this Forum before taking the plunge. Found mine at this address http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/motors. Had to travel to Bristol to buy it, but it was worth it. Spent ages looking berore finding the right one, so dont rush in to it and be patient, as there are good ones out there. Good luck My Fronty thinks its a grown-up Tonka Toy [how sad is that] ?

I would definately buy a 2.2 Dti, have used mine for pulling generators around. Quite torquy once beyond 1900 rpm. I get aroung 32 to 34 mpg out of mine so the best of both worlds.
