Getting ready to fix my carJust ordered front and rear suspension parts from Milners and I am eagerly awaiting parts now. I have the front and rear to do plus the cv boot and rear diff to sort as it is leaking oil. Just about scraped the money together to get the parts then he is off for an MOT and fingers crossed he doesnt fail on emissions! or the bad earth I have that I cant find that makes the rear lights go out when I brake but only when the headlights are on!

Re: Getting ready to fix my cardont put it through with the bad earth Rache or it will fail.
Remove the lamps and check the multiplugs. Also remove the earth wires bolted to the body, scrape them and the body till clean and refit. Also check the earth connection where the plug makes contact with the bulb rail. Good luck. Regards, Keith.

Re: Getting ready to fix my carconnect a trailer or lighting board to the towbar and check. If the fault is there, it will also show on the board. Another way is to disconnect the towbar electrics.
Regards, Keith.
