Which to choose?

Missed out on the 2.5tds i was thinking of buying so looking around again. I need a lwb so i can fit medical equipment and spinal board in (if reqd.),scoop stretcher and s.board will probably live in a roofbox on top as i want to be able to use it as my daily drive as well. My problem is i seem to be getting different views as to which engine to go for, today i've been told to forget diesels and go for a 2.2petrol. So any help/ideas as to what you would choose :!: ,thanks in anticipation Andy.

Hi Westo - have seen that and must admit i'm surprised the guy gets away with it as the stretcher is not secured in :( ,i for one would not like to be secured to it whilst going down the road or in my case with a patient on a off-road or moto cross course.
