2.2tdi 2000

Just a quick bit of help, had a guy come into my shop today amiring my truck, he said he had been offered a 2.2tdi 2000 but wanted to know what engine was in these, the make, he was told it was an izzuzu (spell check)

i dont know anyhting about these so thought you could help and i would pass any details on. gave him forum details so hope he registers.

it is not an isuzu engine in the 2.2dti, it is the X22DTH Vauxhall engine, there are a few isuzu components but not the main block or head

Fairly sure it was designed in Germany by Opel.

according to this site................. http://www.club-opel.com/engine_detail.php?id=61 ........... a 2000 opel frontera should have the opel Y22DTH engine

Absolutely,definitely,100% NOT Isuzu.The B series was designed by Opel in Germany by a woman

this is the reply the guy gave me, just to keep it updated, (bit short sighted in my opinion),

He was going to get it for £2000.00 maybe knock him down abit.

you aint in my opinion going to get that much car for that sort of money anywhere
