Thanks Dicky for that offer. I will however come along in mine, but will decide on the day, whether to play or watch. (if I can make it on the day)
Desperate to see how you guys get stuck in, and get some photos too.
Regards, Keith.

Tazz
Been asked by Stuart to get details of how to get a club stand going, from the guys at the pre 67 Ford classic car show on sunday at Bridge of Allen. So will have to miss this one, but will make a huge effort to attend the next one mate.
Get some photos of the day. :drink:

I served my time on Fords and have always been a ford man until we bought a MK3 Cavalier 2.0 GLS. brilliant motor. Fords are all crap now, and everythings oval.
Ive had 2 mk1 cortinas, 2 mk2 cortinas, a mk3 cortina and a mk5. Mk1 escort 1300 gt, mk2 escort 1.3 gl mk2 escort estate. An early sierra (bad mistake) and a mk2 transit LWB which I modified with a police granada engine and box. I love old Fords.
I used to work for a breakdown company and the owner rebuilt a mk3 zodiac which I helped him with. He was so fussy we stripped and rebuilt it 4 times. He modified it to take power steering from a mk4 and it won the best of show loads of times with the said pre 67 ford club. Looking forward to it, but the weather is to be crap.
Regards, Keith.

a good day was had by all, :D well nearly all. a bit slippery than expected but still great fun.  unfortunately only one frontera turned up and that was my father who was only spectating. there was a few newcomers turned up   but dissappeared rather quickly. the landy crew (the discoverys) didnt have a great day with one snapping a tiebar on back axle an other loosing a rear coil spring and a range rover snapping a rear tiebar and my brothers range rover suffering fuel starvation.   and just to confirm before anyone (dicky   ) looks at the piccies it was not i who toppled over :o :o (sorry to dissapoint :) it was my son kyle. but no harm done just a bruised ego,  think hes going to learn the hard way. i only needed recovered once and took great pleasure in recovering my brother in his range rover, 8) 8) he wasnt amused. i also recovered the white sj first time it got stuck. :P quality of pictures aint great as was taken with my mobile.
