...to lower a Sport's soft top ?

OK, so actually, it wasn't too bad lowering the top, considering 1. I had not done it before and 2. it has not been lowered for quite a few years apparently.

Rear window was ok, the old zip having been replaced with press studs and the rear window lower bar came out ok.

The main top latches didn't half make a bang when they were release The hardest part was working the side window zips through years of moss (still growing in the void) and avoiding a couple of long-dead wasps nestling in the fold of the fabric.

But, after about 20 minutes of faffing about:





Then the hard part... it took about 45 minutes to put the whole thing back together.

But, at least I know it does work and how to do it. I think I might go for a drive tomorrow and take the camera with me

Make sure you put your hood back up when the suns still shining, dont leave it till the evening when it gets cool as they are then a pig to get back up!!
