I have been speaking with our Regional Director at City Plumbing Supplies
about the GWR, I have the go ahead to speak to all our suppliers for sponsership.

Question:

Would you all be ok in adverising their products (car stickers window), companies like: Mira, Potterton, Vaillant, Worcester, Halstead and many many many more, for this I will ask for £10.00 to £20.00 per mile from our suppliers.

We will need to know how many miles will be driven in the attempt.

Best Regards

Dark

fantastic news, well done mate, cant see anyone having a problem with a sticker or two. as for the mileage, the route has to be a minimum of 2 miles and if it is at rockingham the longest circuit is 2.5 miles and we would only get 1 lap. Silverstone is 3.19 miles, again we would get 1 lap. So i'm not sure how sponsorship would work per mile. wouldn't it be great if they said £10 - £20 per car? 300 cars = £3000-£6000 8) 8) 8) 8)

If anyone else thinks they could get a corporate sponsor let us know, the more money we can raise, the better. remember, things will have to be paid for; insurance and such.

yes but thats 300 stickers per advertisment and some wont want to be seen next to there competitors.

so you need 300 cars with up to 5 stickers (adverts) thats about 15k and you could have many brands then

or you go for miles travelled but you then need to think of something like hog the bridge like bikers do on the severn crossing anually. but that could be seen as a protest cirtainly an incovenience to other road users but well worth keeping in mind if gordon brown puts the road tax up again

or charge a fiver to take part ; id pay
