Dear Ian,

I am writing you to put me green on your list because me and my wife are coming over to spend this wonderful day (weekend) with all of Frontera owners.

we are driving from Romania (2700 km) to be there. our car is an Opel Frontera from 1996.

I think we need a visa to come over but we will check and ........everything I hope to be OK.

looking forward to become green......

I wish it could be for all Fronteras, in fact i did apply for that originally but GWR said that they would not recognise it as they only do "Marques" not "Parent Companies" :(

Still, the total number of cars is not the important thing, it's the fact that we all have a damn good time and raise some money for charity

This just a thought on my part...
There is going to be a lot of frontera action at billing & rochingham, what about anyone with anything to sell (parts etc for fronteras)bring them to these places & have a bit of a frontera jumble sale... :?:
This would save people a lot of money on travel & postage expences.... :D
What does anyone else think??

I think if everyone that had anything to sell brought it along (if possible) the word would soon get around about what was for sale & by whom...

I tend to give stuff away if it aint cost me much :oh yer: FOOL I am

Maybe start a GWRA swap shop thread, list the stuff you have spare or want to sell, take it along, maybe swap or sell as the weekend goes by, no doubt some one will have something fall off their cars over the weekend

Any thing I can live without and it aint to big Ill bring along.

Possibly even swap tools, say you have four 10mm spanners, but need a socket, maybe a tool swap could be arranged.

I just need A friend's garage 8)

Just to let you know ...

The Frontera Owners Group Guinness World Record™ Attempt at Rockingham Raceway was listed the other day on http://www.4x4calendar.co.uk

Either look up the date 28th September (as if you didn't know!) or simply type Frontera / Rockingham / Guinness / etc. into the search box.

GOOD LUCK WITH THE ATTEMPT. I'd be there myself to help if required (I organised and achieved the GRW "Largest Parade of Land Rover Vehicles") only it clashes with Abingdon 4x4 Festival and I'm fully commited to be there - bad planning to choose that particular weekend methinks. Never mind, enjoy!!!
