4WDNi are running a Comp-Safari event at Magheramourne Quarry near Larne on Sunday 15th June.

This is a high speed event which is only open to properly prepared cars with roll cages and harnesses etc. But for you and I it is a great chance to see and hear plenty of V8s being fleeced.

There should be a few Bowlers racing - that kind of thing.

I hope to be able to make it and if I can, I'll be hanging around the start / finish and paddock area so come along, enjoy the sport.

No burger van so come prepared. It's a big open place so if it gets windy you need a good coat.

Directions: Take Carrickfergus road out of Larne. Site is on left approx 1 mile past Glynn. Turn in at the Oxygen Therapy centre. The entry is behind that to the left under the arch. Drive slowly and obey signs and officials. Don't drive in front of an angry speeding bowler. Seriously.

For the navigation equipped, the therapy centre's address: 100 Shore Road, Magheramorne, Larne, Co. Antrim BT40 3HT

If you are coming, PM me and I'll give you my mobly.
Cheers

It's the first round of the BCCC (British Cross Country Championship) this weekend, and I'm going to miss it due to a bad back. This also is a Comp(etative) Safarie event, with the action looking a little like this: YouTube

Have a great/safe event and if you get a chance, take and post a few photo's for us to drool over.

Trugga - have fun too!

These are from our last Comp Safari at Magheramourne a few weeks ago:

The old black Rangy is my old chum Si and his GF. Big grins that day...

So if anyone wants to come to any of our other Comp Safaris at Magheramourne - that's what you'll see!
Cheers

You'd be so welcome chum!

Magheramourne is minutes from Larne port so the slow boat from cairnryan or stranraer to Larne would be the most cost effective route.

If anyone is coming over can they let me know as I'd hate to miss you.

I might even partake in a tipple after.
Cheers
