Wotcha...
Big thanks to everyone who came and helped today, our first group visit to the woods of 2013....
Got loads done, cleared all the fallen trees, and opened up a few new tracks for the next meet. It was proper muddy and slippy today, the old BGL on its new tyres needed 2nd gear valve bounce to get up some of the hills. Was a cracking day though even though it was bleedin cold. Many thanks again.
Todays slaves/victims were (from the list)
fudge
Came down in his merc (not a g-wagon or mog though sadly) and amused as we all grafted with his fudge-like antics. Cheers for bringing the bits down and good to see you again mate and thanks for the grafting today.

Pete arrived in his sadona in a cloud of smoke reminisant of del boys 3 threewheeler, carrying spare wheels for stevy 2stuck as Steveydee was having his existing rimmage. Pete grafted all day, but cunningly swerved getting into the BGL with me...opting to freeze instead...Good to see ya mate, and thanks for the well needed refreshments/defrost up the workshop.
stevey2stuck
Ste came down in the technicolour-rain-maker and joined us all about midday after footy...Great help as always mate, although we all missed you falling A-over-T into one of holes...A nice shiny surprise was awaiting Ste up my workshop, but his truck left there looking very vegitarian with Petes loaned road tyres on it. Steve as always made me do bad things in the BGL...when it breaks it will be your fault.
Andytats
Andy came down in his disco to his FIRST workday up the woods...I dunno how he has managed to swerve them for this long, but once the green oval p1ss taking stopped Andy proved a valuable part of the team, even with his monkey-spankers elbow disorder. Great to see ya bud, and the disco is looking good mate.
SteveyDee and Charlotte
Newbies to our kind of madness, steve and his better half came down to help for the day in his shorty B. We showed them round the site, and some silly stuff, and they grafted hard all day (although Charlotte was spotted defrosting in the B!). Steve tried his best with a couple of valiant efforts at the last-but-one climb, but his old tyres were no match for the mud though, even though muchos momentum was indeed applied. Great to meet you both and hope to see you again soon. Steves truck left the workshop after dark now looking much better, with the ex-Stevey2stucks wheels and tyres, and the front lifted and trimmed and straightened up a bit.

Great to see Ste again, the shogunV6 not here today as he came up with Pete...Big thanks to you today for doing all the chainsaw work with your tasty Husky. Huge help and a great effort mate, it made really nice change for me to be able to talk to everyone while shifting wood today sooner than sawing all day myself. I did not even use a chainsaw once today (other than doing my toenails when I got home
Thanks again fella and see ya soon...
And me...
Had a great day...gotta say I saw the weather forcasts and was less than enthusiatic about today, plus I had to do organising as it was one of the odd occasions that Sally wasnt there today (the brains of the outfit)...but today turned out to be a blinding day, we had a laugh (mainly at fudges expense), got loads done, got muddy and got cold.
Big thanks everyone for their help up the workshop to...turned into a bit of a spanner party in the end, and it was freeeeeeezin...
