I finerly found my way onto the PC lol.

Thank u greg for this weekender!! and thank u every1 else for making it what it was!! - a epic weedend!

I was only planning on staying 1 night, so I didnt bother with the tent and just slept in the truck with some pillows and a quilt with the front seat backs put all the way back. It was suprisingly comfy lol....then I ended up staying 2 nights still better than faffing about with a tent tho!!....sorry for sleeping in the second morning tho :P....should of woken me!! the windows were open :P

I seemed to have amused every1 when I went to the fog bog for a seemingly long time....I tryed to work out how the flush it for about 5mins.....only to admit defeat and pop my head out the door and ask how the bludy hell u flush it lol.....armed with a stick/small log and some new knowledge, the problem was resolved :D....I also signed the fog bog wall :)

Anyways....Here are some pics (vids to come later):

Gregs 33" tyres on bling crome rims...looks the muts nuts but just wouldnt fit without cutting away parts of the front doors :( - But i defo want a set of 33's now :D

Wotcha folks...

Well, I might be a little late to the party (have been spending plenty of quality time in bed trying to catch up on a lot of missed sleep) but here we are. Turned up Friday afternoon in a Ford Focus  with CC & Harvey in tow. I know it's not a Fronty, but Holly is currently on SORN cos I have no need to drive at the moment, and there's little point taxing and MOTing a motor that's just gonnae sit there. Besides, I've always got Lara to play with down in the woods  and I know a man who can at the rental place too...

gregster wrote:Wilberforce

Jim left the LWB at home and arrived in a ford fucus..LOL...Helped with the set-up and did a whole load of cooking for everyone over the weekend and helped with the teardown at the end...
His shorty has had some "fettling" by the twisted me since Jim last saw/drove it...now sporting a welded front diff to complement the already locked rear!...
This with the trucks lift and a set of special traks was gonna make this li'll 2.8 a force to be reckoned with....Jim kept us all waiting before unleashing it on the mud, and it was awesome...I watched it drive straight up and out of the "under the tree" climb, without it breaking even a sweat, when I couldnt even get 1/2 way up it using B-I-G and headlights on for an extra 7bhp! proper impressive stuff, until fun was ended with 2 punctures!
Great to Jim again, as he's missed the last couple of meets...will get the tyres rednecked for you bud..Jim has gone the whole 2yr stretch with the mad massive being there for the first meet we sorted up here...welldone and thanks Jim...

So to start with, thank you to Greg and Sally for the hard work in organising the do, and to everyone who turned up. I thoroughtly enjoyed the weekend, it's been a while since I made it to the SE site for financial reasons, but come hell or high water I was going this time :D Plus I think Sal would have throttled me if I didn't turn in to help with the cooking, lol.
Great to meet the old reprobates once more - Kel, Pete, Greg, Sal, Steve, Matt, Paul, Ross & Andy plus the newer faces or who I've only met at the Annual; Mr & Mrs RC, Vauxsqueeks, Hipo. Cheers for helping me drink my whisky, the lot of you :drink: Excellent atmosphere the whole weekend, which makes it even more enjoyable.

Shame about the punctures which ended my fun in the SWB, and believe me changing a mud clogged MT in a muddy slippery hole is no fun, but up 'til then, she was going great guns - my thanks to Greg for a little weld application on my diffs, and giving the old gal an oilchange. For reference, here's just how bad the front diff was; Greg has the pieces somewhere I think...
Image
Anyway, suffice to say, a fully locked 2.8 SWB with Special Track tyres is a truly awesome bit of kit. Now to have a word with 2much about how he does his silly articulation on the rear end

Roll on the next one, eh??
Jim...

Cant wait...next one will be the regular one day picnic jobby...but should be a blast...

Heres wondering what the weather will throw at us though next time????

Luckily we have our own RainMaker, so if we duct tape his roof on, we should be able to count on fine weather!
