In the early hours of saturday morning robfrog was the first to arrive followed shortly by bobbins job and andytats and their appropiate +1's. Early on the neighbours knew that this weekend was going to be anything but quiet as they all parked up on the front lawn.

First order of the day was to prep CEB for her new atire. The old once perfect metallic black paint had now become dull and after loosing a fight with freddy kruger had many scratches.

First up was to key in the existing paintwork, no going back now!

Then after many many meters of masking type ad newspaper the masking was done

andytats found an excuse to get the grinder out early on and although I initially thought he was using it to get rid of some rust it's probably more likely he was using it to get the pesky glue left over from the badge off

It was onto the front lawn for the sprayers to get kitted out

bobbinsjob was particularly proud of his new outfit

CEB was then put into the booth and the end was closed shutting me out. For what seemed like hours I paced nervously trying to remember if I had annoyed any of them recently and if so would they take it out my paint job? Alas the tension was too much and I had to sneak a peak

After all was done I was allowed to see her in full

bobbinsjob had done himself proud and finished a 'friggin sweet' paintjob.

Next order was called and the attendees hushed for the handing over ceremony, i bowed and graciously accepted my position within the new brotherhood......
Lunch time arrived and (after probably smelling it) xplorer and his clan arrived. He was soon in the paddling pool pushing the children out of the way and running round with his water pistol shooting everyone.
As evening drew it it was decided we'd do a A-Team shot
Not to be outdone the wenches for the FOG Angels look

A hearty (well heart stopping) BBQ was had after which it was time to relax for the evening. We presented Lisa with a birthday cake and only putting 2 candles on as everybody was too scared to guess her age.

Late evening we moved out the front

Sunday morning stared by me receiving orders for coffees and teas and I even had to deliver them

A full english fry up was had then Andy and Lisa sloped off for there 'liason in lowestoft' (he obviously knew what events were to follow)
CEB has a problem with fuel leaking back to the tank so put it down to perished fuel pipes, we managed to change the centre and front pipes some of which were perished and start the car after priming however after a short test run it cut out a couple of times, after many hours and swearing, evil glares, numerous failed test drives and my guilt at an all time high it was decided that we should call it a day. We believe that the pipes at the back are also perished but this requires the dropping of the fuel tank to get to so this will be left for another day as I need a replacement tank guard anyway.
During the day a guy pulled up in his freelander as he'd seen the FOG flags when driving past and mentioned his son had a frontera. Later on his son turned up to say hello and hopefully he will be joining the forum shortly.
Thank you all for a great weekend of fun smiles, banter and drinking. You are all great people and are part of what makes FOG great.
I'd like to thank Ian in particular for his great spray work and also the monumental effort he put in on Sunday to try and get it running
Now we can all relax, nurse our sunburn and insect bites fill up our drains with oil and diesel bath water and then crawl into bed aching and sore but to be honest I wouldn't have it any other way.
PS here's a quick timeplapse video, another to follow shortly after it's finished encoding.
