oooo lifted.. cool.

I'll be looking forward to seeing it then.

Definitely can't wait for my Fronty to be back on the road. I know there will be some teething probs etc, like the cut down drive shafts (prop shafts) haven't been balanced yet because we just want to get it working first... I'll run it for a couple of days and if they vibrate they'll have to be sent off for balancing somewhere that specialises in it.

Don't know what the auto electrician has come up with yet, but I managed to get the full rego number of the Trooper which means that through the spares shops we can get the vehicles engine number/type gearbox details and everything about it that we ever need to know, as such it means the auto-electrician should NOW hopefully know what he is wiring up (didn't think it was that hard personally, but I'm not an auto-electrician, hehe)

The exhaust is the bit that worries me most, it's about 3 inches lower than the cross member that holds the gearbox!!!!!! and I don't know what to do about it, I'm thinking running the exhaust all the way up the drivers side of the vehicle might be the only option because I am NOT prepared to lose 3 or 4 inches of ground clearance for an exhaust pipe which I KNOW will be ripped off on the first couple of lanes I go on simply because I know that the vehicle barely cleared before my suspension lift of 2 inches.

Dilemmas!

Looks like a nice truck mate ;)

Be glad to help you enjoy it up here on a few of my favourite lanes.

Will definitely arrange a nice day out for a few peeps... and it looks like it might be two groups at this rate.

might I suggest that everyone grabs a CB this time. :D

When I get the chance I'll take a pic of where mine is :)

However I'm just about to modify that and make it even better. I think there is a piece of the underside of the dash which I can remove and the CB aught to fit in their perfectly.

What sort of rig have you got?

Anyhow, to answer your question, have you tried the Hamshire council online map at all?? HEre
You want to be looking for the brown coloured routes on there, as they're what we can drive. Admittedly there's not much directly round the city, but once you get out a bit, there's a fair number. I did 4 or 5 starting from Romsey with Sizer last weekend, and if you don't object to a little driving about, there are lots around the north of the county, Basingstoke, Alton, Winchester, etc,,,

If you want, drop me a PM (and you too Sizer) and we could try for some on the weekend before Bala perhaps?? If not, well, PM anyhow and we can work something out.
Also, as Greg says, try our Picnic site, it is great fun.
