Hi guys
I wont be there due to my other toy having its main event of the year this weekend!! (MGF 200bhp)
Just a word of warning about the bordon sites in general,
SAND and BRAKES
Appart from the fact that they dont mix very well,
I had plentty of pad and no damage to my rear disc's before I went to Broxhead Common in Bordon (Just down the road, very similar site)
After getting back I have had to have
New Rear Pads
New Rear Discs
New Rear Shoes
Recon Caliper as sand seized it
New handbreak cable as sand got in the sleeve and wore away the cabe double quick!!!!
For all those that are thinking that I didn't clean it properly before comin home, I used over 50l of water only on the wheels, brakes and rad!! (As well as driving through the deep STANDFORD FORD several times (See my video)
Please Please make sure you clean the brakes as thouroughly as you can before comin back AND take the wheel off once back and again deep clean with jetwash / by hand!!
Have fun all,
Rick
