My name is Peter and I've just bought my first Frontera. It's a lightly modded 1995 LWB 2.8 TDi. I got it with 133k miles on the clock and it runs a dream. Body and interior are generally in good condition.
The mods include:
BK165 16 inch alloy wheels with 265/70/16 tyres
Lots of additional lights
Front bull bar
Wind deflector
Blacked out rear windows
Isuzu badges
I understand that the 2.8 Isuzu engined Frontera is the one to have? I haven't had it long enough to work out fuel consumption figures, but based on what I've seen so far I expect 30MPG can be achieved.
I live in a village near Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire, up on a hill accessed via single track roads and bought the car with winter driving in mind.
