For tyres I'm partial to the Maxxis Buckshot Mudders. They wear well, grip well off-road and are surprisingly quiet on-road.
CB wise, several of us have this one from Maplin, which seems to be a nice little unit. They also do magmount aerials so you don't have to worry too much about drilling holes in things if you don't want to
