Hi there,

I've been floating around here for a little while after buying my Fronty in Oct/Nov time last year - so I thought I'd finally introduce myself!

My 'Tonka toy' frontera is a red SWB 1998 'B series' (? someone confirm?) 2.2 16v petrol
I bought it in an emergency when my daily (SEAT Ibiza) blew its turbo, and if i'm completely honest - its one of the best cars i've ever owned! Since decided to keep it on fleet as a toy, so watch this space for developments. I'm going to start a thread in the pictures section - but theres one below too - let me introduce Tonka!

Now that is RED.
Nobody is going to say " I didn't see it!"
They can see it from the ISS.
There's no amount of mud going to hide that shade of red.

nice shiny truck there mate, only because you've commited a FOG sin and washed it for it's photo session. Well we are allowed to wash our trucks a maximum of twice a year, and one of them is for the MOT man....sure I read that in the term/conditions somewhere when I signed up, well thats what i told the wife. Also wasn't there a bit that said "the Frontera is the only 4x4 that never requires the interior to be vaccumed, due to it's revolutionary self cleaning carpets..occasional brushing may be required to remove excess mud collected whilst greenlaning "..that's another one i've told the wife....anything to keep her from driving it.

I know - and believe me - i didnt want to wash it! The only reason I did was it was on the cards to be sold...rest assured it looks nothing like that now...it does have plenty of mud, water marks, and general dirt attached

I just cant help but drive through a muddy puddle!!
